April is renowned for showers that bring forth the flowers that bloom in May! It seems an apt adage for this month as we've been working on a few contracts which will reap rewards for our clients in the long-term.
We've been managing and writing blog posts for two British-based companies. Their products and services are completely different. However, their ethos to their blogs is the same. They're determined to bring valuable information to their customers as well as growing their brand and building relationships. Blogs can be similar to those April showers. Sometimes they can seem fruitless when they don't immediately generate lots of comments. However, like those showers, the roots are always growing and burrowing away beneath the surface. Readers might not comment but that doesn't mean they don't appreciate the content. It also doesn't mean they won't act on the content or direct their friends to read it too. The blogs we're currently updating are fun and fashionable. Their products are very different: one is a designer baby changing bag firm and the other collates great discount deals for stores across the UK and online. However, they both share one clear purpose: to encourage readers to click through to find out more about the companies' great products and services. Their other purposes differ from SEO needs to cultivating relationships. Finally, we'd like to share a link to one of our clients' websites. We completed a rewrite of an article/press release for them and their product provides such an essential service that we think it's worth spreading far and wide (plus they were great guys to work with!). If you ever buy over the internet then you need to know about their website. It allows you to check the security, validity and history of any website before you complete a purchase. It's simple and quick. All you do is input the web address of the site where you're making your purchase and you'll receive lots of information to help you decide if they're safe to use or not. The information ranges from company history to any discrepancies between registered addresses and where the site is hosted. Check them out at www.scamadviser.com

The sun is shining (occasionally), the roads are full of caravans and the newspapers crammed with listings: it's that time of year when everyone starts thinking about events.
From music festivals to home exhibitions, concert halls and fields across the country are being beseiged by thousands of people. What a great opportunity to capture a market, test a product or establish a brand. You may think your product or service doesn't sit with a particular event audience but you'd be mistaken. There are thousands of events taking place across the country and there is sure to be at least one that is perfectly suited to your needs. If you've written a book about fishing, get along to some outdoor shows. If you're selling accessories then target the appropriate local markets before setting your sights on the big arenas. When people with a shared interest come together, they talk and they buy. Make sure it's your product or service that's in front of them. . |
