McShane Media has been providing advice on how to develop regional communication strategies and helping companies to identify the skills needed in regional communications managers.
There is a growing realisation by businesses, and individuals who need a public relations service, that regional work is not easier or lesser than national work. It's simply different. However that's not to say that those working in regional or national communications have interchangable positions. There are comparable skills but also different experience levels and techniques suited to the relevant target audience. A shift from one to the other necessitates learning different disciplines and approaches. McShane Media is happy to advise on which type of public relations executive would suit your company best.

When McShane Media secured the contract to provide a company brochure for a property development company, there was one special condition. The 8-page brochure had to be researched, designed, written and printed in one week!
The brochure was the first corporate publication produced for the company and was for display at a special meeting. McShane Media led the project from interviews to photographs, before finalising the design with the company director and delivering brochures straight from the printers with one day to spare! Maggie from McShane Media said: "Usually we have a longer timescale to produce such a polished document but we welcomed the challenge and the company were extremely proud of the finished brochure. It was a testament to our talents that the deadline was met. We produced a quick but quality product." |
