A Bureau of My Own

Look at my beautiful new bureau! Now I can start calling this room, the morning room and write lines similar to , 'Last night, I dreamt I went to Manderely again ...' A writing bureau is tied to so many of my memories of reading- of the grand houses of gothic horrors; of the locked rooms of Agatha Christie mysteries; of the space of one's own claimed by Virginia Woolf. All of them conjured a room with velvets and locked writing desks. Now, let's see what worlds I can visit and create from here. #amwriting #writingprompts #writingcommunity #writersofinsta #writingbureau
